George Theodore Stratigos

George Stratigos, a native of Sausalito, California has been traveling and serving the communities of the Central Valley and California for over 25 years. As Director of Youth Services for the Greek Orthodox Diocese of San Francisco he served over 30,000 children in seven western states located in fifty-two parish communities. During that time he also served as Executive Director of the Saint Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center located in the foothills of Fresno and as Parish Administrator of the Ascension Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland, California.


After receiving an MBA from San Francisco State University, He became Vice President of CHART Corporation a company that specialized physical therapy rehabilitation clinics for chronic worker compensation patients.


As Senior Development Officer for the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, George has traveled the Central Valley raising funds for the new multi million dollar Stockton campus hygiene program completed this last year. He was part of a five member team in San Francisco that just completed a fifty million dollar campaign this last October, one year early than planned.


George has over 30 years of hands on political experience. He has served his community from Junior High school nonstop to today. Currently he is the President of the Sausalito Marin City School Board following his term as Vice Mayor of the City of Sausalito.
